Author Topic: TurboSquid Model Selling  (Read 2488 times)

I've decided to sell a few models on TurboSquid for pretty cheap, does anyone here know if the site is popular enough for one model to be bought a few times?

I sold the Tesla Claw model for $15. It's my first one, I'm planning on making high-quality stuff with Blender soon.

You actually sold the tesla claw or simply put it up there?

:D

I know about it, and I'm not into modeling much. I wish i was, but I am not. Not enough patience, and I'm too nit-picky.

Zero polygons and vertices? wut

Couldn't find the number of polys on Sketchup. Also lazy.

Someone try to find my shotgun shell model :D

Your models are worth cents not dollars. This reminds me I might actually make a few things and put them up, I need to help pay for my website and all.

shotgun shell model :D
$30?! It's fine, but not that great. Plus, it is only a shotgun shell. Maybe, if it was a shotgun with shells and bullets, but it isn't.

Why the forget would a single shotgun shell require 3000 polygons?

Also, the models you're selling require minimal effort to create, you'd be lucky to get $1 for either of those.

Maybe because he made it extra round? :o

It's not actually 3000 polys, I didn't exactly know how many there were but Sketchup said "3006 triangles".

I'm so lowering the price, just realized my models suck compared to others being sold there. D:

im actually planning to start selling stuff too, i made some lego guys but some stuff needs fixing. And there's already a few lego guys being sold, so i need some ideas on what stuff to include with them. Like there was one guy somebody was selling who had a wheelbarrow and a spade.

I need to think of stuff like that

Yeah, even some of nice detailed weapons are cheaper than your round bullet. :p

@DarkStar
Make some Lego rifle/revolver.

I was thinking about doing this in the future if I ever get any good at modeling, how do get your money do they route it through paypal or what?
