I use the Cookie Monster once or twice for a symbol of (LOL).

Emotes are one of the things most Blockland forum users love to hate. I laugh when people give advice to new members and tell them not to use any emotes. Seriously, why do you care?

Any level headed, moderately intelligent person doesn't care if someone spammed a couple of emotes in a post. They can ignore them.

I commonly don't use any, since emote spammers gave me a distaste for them. I occasionally use  in place of :D, though.
