Author Topic: Full trust askers are back.  (Read 2534 times)

Suddenly I started getting a lot more people who ask for full immediately when they join.

A chap named "Die" came on and said this after I ignored his first request:

He then continued to leave after I continued to ignore him, and everyone was sad because Die wasn't there anymore and-- wait, I don't even know who Die is, why would I care that he's gone?

I just don't know. Does this actually work on some people?

I agree, that way their topics can be used as coding resources for future problems.

I see what you were talking about: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=63454.msg1043198;boardseen#new

If someone sends me a random trust invite and im admin, I warn them not to do it again. If they send me a random trust invite and the invite forgets up what im doing, I kick/ban them for a period of time.

1. Trust asker
2. Ignore
3. Banhammer to hand.
4. Ban
5. ???
6. Trust asker has left the game.

My welcome message is:
Do not ask trust or admin jadajadajada, and they still do =/

I hate it when they ask for trust, but I try to teach them never to do it again. So I perma ban them
But one time I banned somebody and then got IRC spammed and decided to unban them, when they got back they imidiatly asked for trust.
I also hate it when they ask for trust thinking you are going to let them help you build or let them build on your fort in fort wars.

That is a great method of teaching.

I'm on several servers building the same medieval house over and over again.
I know it looks great but after I build it there are coming those blockheads wanting fulltrust with the reason: "I hav idea how to mak ur hous kool with my furuninte. Pls trust accept :)". I just insta ignore them.
Some of the are trying to argue with me but I'm to busy to react.

I sometimes ask for full trust if it is a very small building server (2-5 players) so we can all build and ride vehicles together.

YES.

Also help topics, which is why Badspot got rid of editing in the help section

Also shortly after I posted this, snot came onto my server and threatened to leave if I didnt give him full.

So naturally I have him full.
