Author Topic: Anti-Virus Number-1  (Read 2369 times)

annoying as hell. i got it because i told my friend to not go to MySpace, due to being virus running around there. and sure enough, when it was my turn to use the computer, "Anti Virus Number 1" keeps on coming up, faking virus infections, just so i could spend 90 bucks to get rid of the "infections". now, the question is: get rid of it. tracking it down is hard enough to do. my mom's credit card won't go through, so i can't get SpyHunter. any other method of getting rid of it?

TL;DR: MySpace gave my computer AIDS; do not want

Safe Mode with Networking?

also, it fakes a blue screen, which can be easily removed with ALT F4, but again, is annoying

Get AVG.
Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape and find the process it uses, then end it and search for it, then delete it.
is it free? can you get me a link to it please? also, it fakes a blue screen, which can be easily removed with ALT F4, but again, is annoying
