How did you discover RTB/TBM?

TBM?  Seriously?

Anyways, I found blockland through the 101 Free Games section of Computer Gaming World 2004/2005.

I somehow was able to find Blockland on youtube. I forget what it was I was searching, and I forget how I came across the video. Went out and found v0002 and RTB because that's what the videos were. Retail had just came out about a month before I found Blockland and thus I bought it.

Sadly I wasn't here technically before retail, but my ID isn't all that high, 90 digits earlier and I would have been a triple digit. Though it was fun to be Blockland's first wave of noobs. Etiher way, 2 or so years later I'm still here.

To be quite honest I don't know the exact date I bought Blockland, I just go off of when I registered on the forums. That was in 2007. But I had Blockland before then.

Damnit, I always kick myself thinking that had I payed a little more attention to what was going on in the Blockland world I would have had a lower ID. Instead I forgeted around playing RTB, first by myself, then later with Warren. Oh well, Blockland has proved a good source of entertainment over the years, so I salute it.

I probably have the coolest story :P

I read about it in a local newspaper, written by a student of my mother (who teaches highschool) I told my older brother about it, he played more seriously then i did. infact, i think he was pretty respected, seeing as how he had quite a few people on his MSN, people like Pload and bloodbath people like that . Then when retail came out i bought it pretty early and began playing it a lot more.

Yes. A lot of people actually enjoyed TBM over RTB. It's entirely possible to think that some converted.

I got my first laptop for christmas then the next day googled "free online lego building game" and found Blockland v0002. Eventually about a month later I joined the forums and found out about RtB. Everything went from there.

5 or so weeks before TSS spotlighted. I kinda miss the crapload of servers with decent people and adults.

Saw it on The Screen Savers.

I would laugh if your brother was Ytud.

How did I discover RTB and TBM? They were posted on the forums!

If your implying that TBM is bad it wasn't always that way. It had a great community. Just a couple blockland players found a script that made your server vulnerable to client run scripts when running AiO.

Blood bath is kind of an ass, I always disliked him :-\

Well, a couple years back I was doing some searches on stuff like "free online games" and stumbled upon these lists of games. Blockland was on there, the picture was from the old blockland. I went onto the website, noticing that it was $20. Being the cheapskate I was, Went and googled "Free blockland" (No, Not like pirating.) and it gave me TBM.
I went and opened up my first server, noone really joined except for a guy named Bob. (Now, Keep in mind that this was a long time ago, and I cant remember all of it.) For the next days I was trying to figure out how to play and stuff, and Darklight joined (AKA, Nozoner). We played for a while having fun. We liked to build space ships, and had alot of them. Later, Degial joined. (He never got Retail sadly D:) We had fun for a long time, messing around. After awhile, Nozoner (Darklight) got Retail for his birth day (I think?). I got Nozoners MSN and we talked, he sometimes played TBM with me and deg. Then Degials computer died (Uh, I think...) we just stoped playing. Then finaly I got Retail and played with nozoner, Occasionally sending Degial emails...Changed my name to dropshock (Used to be The Grim Reaper, I thought it was to generic in Retail) and followed off to here. Good times... Good times.

I hope you realize I am (Or rather, was) the Bob in your server back then.

As for TBM itself, yeah I used to play it. Now I look back with disgust.
