I wonder what I was like when I was 3 years old or whatever and didn't know how to read, what did I think when I saw a stop sign, or a billboard, or a truck with some writing on it.
Like since I know how to read, I understand what the signs are, I can read a billboard telling me to drink beer, I see a truck with Vons on the side of it. Its just weird to think about...

I think its along the lines of saying "Mommy, what does that say?"

Good times.

Ya i get that too. except more with words i didn't understand rather than when i couldn't read all together.

I thought about this too. It's really hard to comprehend really. Like I'd see the word but because I didn't know what they are would it still look like english... But then again it's still english to everyone else... While the obvious answer is "yes it would look the same", it wouldn't be perceived the same.

Try to comprehend what a never-before-seen color would look like

I wonder if everyone sees different colors, but since we learned that's what the color is, we all call it the same.

Same here :D

For all we know when you see as white I see as black.

I've thought about that as well

Yeah, think about if you were actually colorblind and didn't know?

Or this!

You're actually in the future, and you're on a reality TV show all about you and how you react to life. All events that have happened to you have been planned by some producer, and your world is inside a giant dome that simulates temperature, weather, time, and everything else. Everyone you know is an actor on this TV show. Your parents aren't actually your parents, and you were grown in a test tube from artificial DNA. The money system, government, planet, and world that you know is completely fictional, made up by a creative group of TV producers.

:O

I thought about this:
In game engines, what you don't see isn't rendered. What if real life is like that, what if you're the only player, and that anything you don't see doesn't exist?

Fiction, but a fun thought.

Try and see all sides of a cube at once. :P

Mirrors :D

No, then you are just seeing an image of a cube projected onto a peice of glass and metal.

This is what you thought.

Great, anybody know my brother at like age 2 cut his forehead open on one side :D
