Blockland has over 12k users. That sounds pretty popular to me.

Ya. I would say so.

Ya. I would say so.

Okay, 12,000 compared to 16,000,000 (WoW).  Not to say that WoW is the goal, or anything like that, but 12k isn't all that popular.  However, if Badspot does get 25% of each purchase ($5), that means $60,000 for him.  That is a lot of money.  Unless I did my math wrong and it's $3,000.  But 12k times 5 is 60,000.

I know that 12K isn't that popular. How many of those accounts are active? That is what really matters. WoW is in a league all by itself.

Gordon made a valid point.
Blizzard has hundreds of staff makers that code, handle bug reports/suggestions/requests/player complaints, think up new ideas, make advertisements, and what not.
Blockland has Badpsot and kompressor. They do everything.

Obviously Blockland should never be compared to World of Warcraft. However, on the scale that Blockland is at now, I think that we could hope for 50,000 people and see it happen by the end of '09 if we're lucky.

Everyone go tell your loser friends, quick!

I don't get why this was moved to drama

The point I made was that even comparing the word "popular" to that of WoW's is idiotic, which is pretty much your definition. WoW isn't even popular, it's grossly popular. I don't even know why you brought it up, the OP was merely asking if others thought the game should be more popular than it currently is, not if there should be 2,000,000 more skull forgeted preteens playing the game.

Okay, you've lost it.  I'm done explaining my (what I thought was obvious) position.

I understood what you were saying, dude. I was just pointing out your post was irrelevant and stupid.

And I'm saying that because of what you said in your reply, and that you think it's irrelevant and stupid, that you don't really understand what I was saying.

Anyways, now I'm really done.

It's like talking to a child.

It's like talking to a child.

For you, it should be talking to a mirror.  For me, it's exactly as you described.

Now you're just being archaic to sound like a pompous douche on purpose. You said something stupid and defended it to the grave; I don't see where I am at fault for calling you out on making a bullstuff statement about the definition of the word 'popular.'

Are you even reading your own posts?

This is getting stupid, let's call it quits.

here
more players = more money for badspot
more money for badspot= he can hire people to work for him
more people working for him = faster updates
faster updates = more players
and you get it now?
