Badspot deserves the money, but I'm pretty sure the large community will piss him, and most of us, off.

I voted small community, but really I am seriously confused.  Big community for more fun.  Or small community for more relaxation.  Or the easy way out: Community grows by mouth and notes, no commercials or annoying posters allowed.

For a second there I thought you said mouth and NOSE, and I was like best idea ever.

We need more variety in servers, which might come with more people. To me, CityRp's and Freebuilds aren't that appealing.

Okay, 12,000 compared to 16,000,000 (WoW).  Not to say that WoW is the goal, or anything like that, but 12k isn't all that popular.  However, if Badspot does get 25% of each purchase ($5), that means $60,000 for him.  That is a lot of money.  Unless I did my math wrong and it's $3,000.  But 12k times 5 is 60,000.

that may be true but think about this:

its taken about 4 years to get 12,000 players, $60,000 / 4 = 15000 dollars a year
thats definitely not some big income

You're forgetting that the population growth has not been linear. The population is expanding exponentially.

Then don't join them.

Also Badspot might only make $7,500; He gets about $9.88 or something close to that for each key he sells.

Let's say 12,000 people have bought the game (you've seen a 12k id, right?).  If badspot makes $5 per game, he gets $60,000 dollars (5x12,000=60,000).  If badspot makes $10 per game, he gets $120,000 dollars.

Simple math.

That's enough to pay off taxes. Or pay off loans.

I don't think it would make a stable income however.

Fake Edit: But if it was about the money, I don't think he would price BL for $20. To the people who play it, it's worth much more.

Hey, I never said it would make a stable income, but you're right.  $120,000 dollars maybe (to last you a year), but $60,000 isn't enough for a single year.

And the fake edit, you're completely right.  If it was really about the money, blockland would be priced way higher.

Uh I was just throwing that out there, in response to the amount of money he may have accumulated.

I consider popular at least 500 000 players.
And I don't want to see 500 000 people roaming around in BL.
It would be chaos. :o

That would've meant approximetaly 10,000 servers. Thats a lot. Not everyone plays at the same time so that narrows it down to the a reasonable quantity 100k players. Not everyone can host a server so thats 90k. Not everyone will want to host a server when a good server is up or something so thats 60k. And because I think thats too much I just guessed 10k. Seriously though, that'd be hell to try finding your friends server(Thank god to the new server name thing [name]'s bla bla)

We better get a sever name search and be able to add clan tags to servers and I filtering option for them before we get more people. Oh and I don't know why you keep saying there are 12,000 users. We have 6000 at the most that actually still play, and many IDs have still yet to be sold.
