Author Topic: How to register Milkshape?  (Read 13348 times)

This question may sound stupid, but I really am having a hard time. When I got version Milkshape 1.8.4 it asked me if I want the trial version or the standard version. I checked the standard version. After it installed and opened milkshape. At the top it said, "not registered". I tried to save a model but it said "You need to download the registration key at www.milkshape3d.com". I reinstalled milkshape several times and kept going back and forth checking either trial or standard version. Ive even re downloaded it a few times. So I thought someone here may have a solution to my problem.

Standard version costs money. It's like Blockland. You pay, you get a key, you register it.

The problem I am having is that. I can't find where to enter my registration key.

Oh.

Well I don't know :\

Help ---> About ---> Register
its in a stupid place imo.

Before I lock this, how do I port the models into a blockland map?

EDIT: Forgot to say thanks!

I think the newest version exports to .dts which is what blockland uses for shapes.

I don't know if this is a problem but when I clicked save as. The save as type says .ms3d? Is it still going to be a .dts or no?

That's a Milkshape 3D file.

No you go to "File ---> Export" there are two .dts options there I'm not sure which to use you could ask in modification discussion a lot of people here use Milkshape for models in their add-ons.

I like how friendly this Architect guy is.
