Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, GTA.

Different type of genre:

Skate 2 (amazing game, great career mode, and multiplyer.
Stoked (its basically the snowboarding equivelent of Skate 2, same controls, has 6 huge mountains, great graphics and multiplayer.

He won't have fun actually paying for online, but he will have fun playing online... its $50, thats nothing over a year.

And he might be missing out on mario, but he will be getting a lot of better games...

Wow isn't much fun anyway. Although I did get a Blu-ray movie and a map pack for COD4 with the money I would have spent to pay for playing online on X-Box live. Ha!

Oh and I wasn't talking about wii and mario stuffs

In that case, was it truly necessary to come in here with the single goal of causing trouble?

Besides, with the money he saved by buying an Xbox 360 over a PS3, he could easily afford 2 years of LIVE service if he wanted to.

I got my 40gb Ps3 used for $200. I got a decent hard drive and spent less money. If he gets a normal 360 and 2 years of Live he has already spent $200 more than if he just got a Ps3 and free online. So if I am watching a show or playing a Psone game that I got from Psn on my Ps3 but I have to go to the dentist office, I could just download it on to my Psp and watch/play it while someone who just has a 360 would be sitting in the waiting room reading an old magizene about home decoration waiting until they can get back on the 360. Then when they get home they will feed their X-Box more money so they can play with 10 year olds screaming at their mother to let them have 5 more minutes to finish an online game of Halo 3.

Oh and I didn't get my Ps3 from Gamestop. Craigslist is waaaaay better for buying used consoles. I found a 40gb Ps3 for $250 five minutes ago for the dfw area.

Anyway you slice it, you have no legitimate reason to stuff on this thread nor his decision. Either console has a great selection of games and features. There is little reason to regret buying either...well, other than that you could have bought a nice gaming computer when all was said and done.

If you get a gaming computer you spend way to much and miss out on anything that is console exclusive. A you can only move in 8 directions with the wasd settup. But the ability to add things and mod the game on some titles can be nice (portal gun in HL2 for example).

I was only trying to make sure he knows what the Ps3 has and doesn`t gave so he makes a well informed decision. Alot people at my school own 360s and think of Ps3s as over priced consoles full of 360 ports that the devolopers did because they wanted to milk every cent out of their game. I love my Ps3 and I wouldn't trade it for a 360 even if I got the chance. The 360 has better online customer support and the fee probably knocks off the first wave of 'nade spamming handicaps but I don't believe this justifies the fee. I am sorry I am posting so much pro Ps3 things but after playing on both systems many times I honestly find that Ps3 is much better system and worth the extra money.

(Sorry if I misspelled anything, I am typing this on the wii because my brother destroyed my comp after I caught him peeking at my screen in Cod4 D:)
