Wizzard Joins the Server Moderator Team!

It is with great honor to announce that Wizzard has joined the Server Moderation team! Wizzard had joined ScatteredSpace many years ago and has since returned to prove himself to be a valued builder that uses good judgment.

After a long bout with the server being passworded to resolve an issue found with Block City, I have decided to revert the script to bring back the server to the public. This reversion has the issue with losing Blocks when attempting to plant a brick on a non-trusted build.

Work will continue to resolve this issue in a way so that it will not affect brick loading.

In other news, Blastdown returns as a Server Moderator.

Work on a new Game Mode for ScatteredSpace is in the works. Stay tuned for more information.

What's New?

• Block City version 4.0 is nearly available for beta testing. All thanks go to Mr. Doom for completely recoding the script to be better suited for expansion and scalability.
• Improvements to the Vehicle Wars script that runs on ScatteredSpace's 24/7 server continues to receive updates. The script is currently being restructured to be more modular.
• Lesson 2a of my simple scripting tutorial is now up. The tutorials can be found here.

ScatteredSpace is currently looking for an Add-On creator to help in the development of the Dogfight server. There is currently an Anti Aircraft cannon "vehicle" created by Pandan but it is unfinished and it does not appear that he is interested in continuing work with it. We are looking for a more functional and complete Anti Aircraft cannon. If you would like to help by designing a functional Anti Aircraft cannon for the server, please contact a Server Moderator with your proposition or announce it on the ScatteredSpace Forums.

What's New?

• Clockturn has been removed from the Server Moderation team due to inactivity and disinterest in work.
• Pandan has expressed interest on working with the Anti-Aircraft cannon again. Due to personal issues, he states that he cannot continue work until Thanksgiving break.
• Restructuring has begun with the Vehicle Wars script. Once restructuring of the files is complete, I intend to redo parts of it's coding to include better script checks and improve other Add-On compatibility.
• A new map is currently in the works for a change in scenery in the current official ScatteredSpace Vehicle-Wars server. The map can be checked out here.
• Mr. Doom believes that the new and improved Block City script should be online before Christmas.
