Safari or IE?

I think Internet explorer was the last major browser to come out with tabs, and yet they still somehow failed at it.

Takes me half a second to ctrl+t on firefox, and it takes 4 minutes to open up a tab in IE7

Plus my site looks stuff in IE, Why on earth does IE make frames have scroll bars when they're not needed?

Because no proper website owner in their right mind uses frames anymore. They were a major feature of IE, but have become obsolete, and not all browsers even support them.

It looks great in FF, also have a JS function to make it collapse on the page and open back up again, sidebar even.

IE is default for PCs, and Safari is Default on Macs so whatever.

I say Safari it is more standards compliant and faster in my experience.  But why can't you install Firefox, my grandpa had an ancient windows 98 machine it it ran fine on that.

Reminds me of a story, Called up Microsoft one day having some driver issues, Between Vista and my graphics card, so they took control of my computer, and the asian lady said, "I see you're using Fire Fox, you should uninstall it and use Internet Explorer for Optimal viewing of Web pages." Then I said, "Well as a Web Designer, it's common practice to run everything off the popular browsers." Then she let off a stuffty, "tsss" sound. Very, very rude.

Why are you unable to download FF/Chrome?

Chrome is number one, Safari is number two, all others are no.  When looking at speed, standard compliance, and usability, no other browsers start to come close.  Firefox is third, but a weak third, like a race were two people end at almost the same time, and then another guy comes in ten seconds latter.

For reference, internet explorer is the overweight guy who tripped and fell face first into the mud.

Also, as far as security goes, all browsers have flaws that allow them to be hacked by professionals in competitions, but the way Chrome works prevents the hacker from being able to do anything.  Though as far as every day browsing safari is safe too, but Internet Explorer is a no no.
