Author Topic: Lock-down at school today.  (Read 8213 times)

yep, i just got home. it was kind of awesome. i was stuck in PE doing warm-ups when the intercoms said "Teachers, lock the doors, close the windows, and pull down the blinds. This is a lock-down. This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill." We were in lock down becuase of some suspicious guy. Lots of kids were scared. This girl huddled into a ball and almost cried.I was only scared when I was told we might stay a number of hours after school.

tl;dr: Lock-down at school because of some suspicious activities caused by a guy around the area.

Discuse.

That sounds epic :D

When our school has a lockdown it plays this loud thing over the speakers

WERRRRR WERRRR "INTRUDER ALERT!"  loop

it plays that like 3 times and then we all lock doors and crap and put these pieces of paper under the door to tell if we are safe or if the guy is about to ax us in the head.

I don't see why people would tl;dr that but okay.

also did you finish your warmup? >:(

also did you finish your warmup? >:(

Sounds fun. All of our lock-downs are just drills, I want excitement :<

the teachers let us use our iPods after 1 hour of lock-down. i had my CD player, but then the batteries died.

It's scary because I had a lockdown at school too.

Lol I was curious about the lock down message when we first had the drills this year.  We didn't have any last year for some odd reason.   But it sounds more like something from an old game rather than a spaceship.

Edit:

We don't have real lockdowns, and I'm godamn glad.

I remember the 5th grade lockdown though, one kid actually was doing his homework during the lockdown drill.
