Author Topic: Lock-down at school today.  (Read 8271 times)

My schools use codes that only the teacher knows.
Ex: Some time in Elementary, this guy came on the school property and we had a lockdown. Over the intercom they said "A shoe was found in the teachers lounge. Will the owner please come claim it" or something like that.

Sounds fail.
i was half into "What is love" when the batteries died and i told my friend about my batteries dying. he said "fail."

Saying "LOCKDOWN LOEL" or "omg intruder" is very stupid for schools.

They need to have some code word that only teachers know. That way, if a student goes on a killing spree, they can say codeword and student would be like "OH NORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT THEY DON'T KNOW I'M BEING A friend"

the announcment was directed to the classroom intercoms, not the outside ones.

if we had a lock down we would be dead we have a OLD school if a guy broke in our classroom we would kick his ass becouse we all have big heavy deadly binders and text books and other stuff including scissers and realy sharp pencils

When our school has a lockdown it plays this loud thing over the speakers

WERRRRR WERRRR "INTRUDER ALERT!"  loop

it plays that like 3 times and then we all lock doors and crap and put these pieces of paper under the door to tell if we are safe or if the guy is about to ax us in the head.
Haha, I love the voice, but the card stuff.. . "Hey, we're in here!"

not all the doors are open

Lol I know, how is that productive.  And if the guy is in there, how do you slip the red card out?  The guy will be like WAS THAT A SIGNAL?!?!  And ask a bunch of questions and then the teacher starts crying and he shoots someone.  Yes, this is so helpful.

My school says "Mr. lock has entered the building."

And then our nifty automatic doors close and lock themselves, and we huddle in a corner.

You know, I wouldn't be suprised if someone just put on a large trenchcoat and a hat and just walked around the school randomly to mess with people for the fun of it.

I can totally see a ton of people doing that in our nice, new post-Columbine/VT world.

there were also reports of a local bank robbery
