Author Topic: The right program to script with  (Read 1153 times)

I got DreamWeaver cs4 and i was wondering if it was the right progrm to script with? If it is not please tell me the right program. Thanks

No, Torsion works better.

Any text editor will work. Lighter ones like Notepad are more efficient for the job so you don't have to open up something as big as Microsoft Word or whatever each time you want to make a script.

Are you on a Mac? If so try using Unitron.

Or Smultron

It's called Notepad++.
Dreamweaver =/= TS coding device.

I use Notepad2, though all it can really offer to torquescript is easy tabbing.

If you use NP++ and set its language to C#, it does a lot to help. Including highlighting bracket pairs, function collapsing, mass function collapsing, and it highlights a couple reserved words.

Good indenting with notepad is just as good as highlighting bracket pairs in notepad++.

I set CS files to open with notepad, so I can just double-click a CS file and it'll open on that quick-and-easy editing program.

I set a black "CS" text as an icon, along with other files such as common files that are not normal.
