How can people get away with making web pages like this? An average person could be so easily tricked by this. If it were up to me, trap links like that would be illegal.

There's been alot of talk about viruses today, or maybe I'm just now noticing it. I've been spending all day beefing up the security on my computer because of it.

they already are illegal, it's just people think they're so "bad" breaking the law and its not their fault that you believe them

System Restore, and if that fails, go to Safe Mode with Networking and download some trial internet security. Remove the threat and leave the security software for at least a week to make sure it won't come back, then remove it.

Well...I managed to close the program after jumping through about 1,000 hoops. I'm re-downloading AVG.

Many people who make viruses then go on to make a program that gets rid of the virus so they can make a profit.

I hate it when you get trap links :c I have this thing called snappy ads on my computer, it won't go away either, i always leave my computer on at nigh so when i wake up i usually have about 15 spam pop ups
