Author Topic: People crash when they join my server (Read 1172 times)

It's recently been happing probably around this week, I host a server launches fine.
But of coarse, when someone joins they'll get in and things will be alright for about 1-3 minutes tops people in my server say they lag out they will freeze; cannot move or anything but they can see the chat and whats happening around them. It's happening to everyone. Xoax says it happens at a random time and only in my server i occurs. Is there any way to fix it?

Also: it's not the brick count it happens with like only 100 bricks. And it does not effect me I'll stay fine but everyone else it will lag them to death.

Sorry for double post but Reysqaured is in my server dieing of extreme lag every couple minutes and I decided to show you all my very lovey console.

That looks abnormal... Please help.

Well I fell asleep since it was around 3:00 AM, but I am the unfortunate person referred to in this topic and it is indeed annoying as hell, though if someone who isn't lagging wands you it seems to fix the problem (I've tried it on other servers, too!)

Get a better computer? mine is pretty decent, 4 gigs of RAM, AMD athlon 64X2 dual core. In fact I even hit 800 FPS with fraps a couple nights ago. Its not the computer, Its the server or an add-on?

same with me i got all my stuffty addons losing textures cause of the update to v11 now when ppl join my server in a couple of min they nearly lag to death

I heard in other places that the console spam somtimes lag people badly lol.

Its one of the millions of crap add-ons you have. Delete some of them.

@omega, whats wrong with IGSO?

IGSO causes that error.
I love how Godik only read the "get a better computer" part of Omega's post.

However, IGSO shouldn't be crashing players, can you post YOUR console.log file?

Guys, I got rid of IGSO when General Omega said so, and it did not fix the crashing error. I decided to reinstall last night and i'm still having the same problem, people are crashing i'm almost completely out of options, I've looked over back and made sure the port forwarded things were all correct and everything I've reset my modem and router and nothing.
