does gmod 10 need a full version of half life 2 becouse i have a demo of it and i want to know if i could just use the demo or not

Yes. You need the full version of a source game such as HL2.

Like Azerath said, you need a full version of a Source game to run it, such as Team Fortress 2 or Counter Strike: Source.
