It entertained me for 20 minutes, hopping around and fighting, but as soon as I started riding a horse, stuff went downhill. Summary:
1. Riding a horse makes you a criminal, instantly.
2. Guards are always harder than the bosses, by far.
3. The storyline was uninteresting, and the "plot twists" just made it stupid.
4. The circle of templars was god damned ridiculous. Took me a whole day to beat that, then I got to the final boss and won instantly. Unacceptable.
5. Worst cliffhanger in history. It's terrible writing, and terrible planning. The writer should be thrown in the hole with whoever wrote for CODWAW.
6. Fighting method was not fluid enough, and even the executions got wholly uninteresting after the first 5.
