I kinda got what was going on, but it wasn't clear who they were fighting against, I thought they blew up their own base.. And didn't get how he died.

That was such a sad story. it literley made me cry. But i loved it.

The story is hard to follow, and the music by the end was far too over the top, yet it was unable to deliver emotions. If it's a sad film then try experimenting with darker shades, in the editing phase you could do it, I think.
