im pretty sure there are stars if you look at the sun you see some white dots near it

Yes, there are stars. I'm not quite sure why people aren't clicking the thumbnails for the full sized pictures, but you can definitely see stars in the full-sized pictures.

I changed all the textures to wood.  The blocks are wood too.
