Ping refers to the network latency between a player's computer, called a client, and the game server (or another client)

When Ping is high, example: 560ms, This might lag a bit, but with like 50ms, it'll be lagless. But with a ping of 1000++, it'll lag so much, that it shows "DEAD".

Most of the time, the reason it shows "DEAD" because you have not forwarded your ports properly.

Thanks for the help, but this doesnt help. You see, I got Mac Os X, and there is no "Start" Menu on a  Mac, and I don't know the alternative. Thanks though for all the info, I just can't fix it.
