Author Topic: Server is down even after correctly forwarding ports.  (Read 663 times)

Ok, so my server has been down for awhile now, and I have my ports forwarded correctly(My server has worked before). So I am wondering why my server is down for no reason anymore.
So my server has just suddenly stopped working and I am wondering why.

If you have a firewall, Try turning it off, and your anti-virus.

1.My firewall has Blockland unblocked
2.My anti-virus is out of date so that may be the problem, let me try updating/turning it off.

Sometimes when i reinstall blockland my Ip changed so i re forward.

Some routers do not give computers static IP addresses so yours may have changed. Make sure you are forwarding to the correct IP address.

The static ip portforward thing doesnt work for my computer?

I will reply again if I run into another problem, for now I am going to do what Starcraftman said.

No router gives a computer a static IP.
The computer has the ability to tell the router the IP it wants, if you follow the Static IP guide on portforward.com.
