Author Topic: There's an end of slate... why?!  (Read 3501 times)

There's an end of slate, and it doesn't make sense why it's there?

You can not see shadows off the end of slate, nor can you land on it(it's just water underground for like 2 meters and then you fall on forever)

Slate is a big 3D rectangle, If you try to get in from the bottom, instead of floating up, you'll float in one place.

It is a cube. All sides are the same.

And it is useful for idiot proof bases.

Please explain how the end of slate works, because I've tried to reach the bottom with no luck.

There is an end as in no more land and you just fall, but you fall forever.

I've actually noticed this because of my train vehicle, many people ended up reaching the end of slate before going full speed.

kal do you have the train vehicle,it was never released, did you make it on your own time?

It's being finished, just messing around with calculating MPH, which is very confusing.

And the bell will require some slient cided crap, because I didn't want to use the light for toggling.
-And of course I have to find an audio file for it...

i used my shadow-like player to reach the end of slate =o

If there wasn't an end to slate/slate like maps, it could have the potential to be very laggy.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA

No.

Actually, yes.
Slate uses a completely transparent interior shape, which cannot extend infinitly.
If you were to make infinite ammount of these interior shapes, the game would crash, if you didn't make the infinite interior shapes, there would be an end.

Using a terrain wouldn't work, seeing how terrains cannot be invisible.

You sir, win at explaining things.
