portforward's site offers an app that can auto forward things for you.

you are able to use it without paying, you just get popups to buy a and register, im sure its a 30 day thing.
it does the same thing as manually port forwarding yourself,
you will still need to know any passwords your parents or whoever set on your router, and the range of ports you want.

ive used this on a few apps i had trouble forwarding

Well on my computer, it isnt a mac thoe my firewall is unde ControlPanel>InternetOptions> Then in there you dislabe firewall, or put blcokland into the programs list that is accppted.
This might not yet solve your problem, when i first port forwarded, my internet connection was bad so my servers were all dead, untill i fixed

The problem is not the firewall with a mac (Unless you use a firewall that did not come with the computer).

What OSX version are you using? Leopard? if so look here[/url}
