I learned of DNA, sure, but nothing of the table of elements, why the react to each other the way they do, why they effect things... Nothing really in depth about them.

Also sure, everything involves elements pretty much I'll give you that... But not everything goes into great detail about what they are like. I don't mind learning what they effect and how they effect things in the big picture, but learning how they work seems kind of obnoxious to me.

This is true, but what the CEOs are not seeing is a decline in the value of their money as a whole and if the economy collapses, all that cash they had will be worthless putting them in the poor house faster than they can blink. ANd after that, they won't have all that much too keep them from the raging masses at their betrayal. (only speculation of course)
