My flash drive...NOOOOOO!

Well, my dog just came by and bent the head of my flash drive, and now it doesn't work. I want my stuff off of there, so I can at least move it to a new drive, but it only connects to my computer for a split second. Any ideas?

Stick it in the drive and push down on it lightly, or pull up on it lightly the whole time it is in there.

Sounds hair brained but it work if it the problem is the the contacts.

Now, is the entire head bent, or is the tip of it bent, only so that it can't be inserted into the slot?

If it's just the tip, you could probably stick something in there to bend it back into shape.
