the money just dissappears, like donuts at a  fatguy convention

Do you mean NPC's?

Anyways, they keep the money.  The marshal has about 400k i think it was.....

Ugh I don't know if you guys are serious or not but the NPC's do not keep money.

An average game would work like this in theory:

Player approaches NPC.

NPC asks for 500gp for a service/item

If you choose to purchase...

The game checks to see if the player has 500 GP

IF

Player GP >= Cost

Then

Give Player Item/Service

Player GP - 500 = Player GP

Else

Display "You do not have enough money"

EndIf

Of course thats just Pseudocode and looks nothing like real code or is used that way.

So no, the money does not go anyway, it is just deducted from your total, and its just gone.

Actually, the NPCs in this game do keep money. The only who can take it is the Marshal though.

1. You're Wrong
2. Games (especially torque games) are not written in vbscript
EDIT: 3. Your vbscript is quite wrong

1. I said in standard games. I mean could you program it that way, YES, yes you could, but that would be extra coding, why would you do that, the marshal doesn't use it.

2. I said it was Pseudo code, do you know what that means?

3. I never said it was the Torque Language, just the standard programming idea. Lets not get into this, it was general and vague. I admit that, but there was no need to get into it.
