I am getting a PC in about 3 weeks, and I was wondering which one to get?

My parents say drivers are hard to find for 64 bit...

New Question - How much RAM?

I always use 64 bit, Drivers aren't hard to find for me.

average computers now have at least 4gigs of ram. a gaming comp you would get like 6+ now

but 32bit cant even "see" or use more then about 3.4gigs regardless how much you got in there
64bit uses up to 128g of ram, future proof till the 128bit OS

Drivers aren't an issue anymore for modern mainstream parts.

XP Ram: 2Gig is normal. 4 for Gaming

Vista: 4 is norma. 6 is for gaming.

Above post kind of answers that, but isn't 8 on the borderline between good and un-necissary?

even a prebuilt recovery CD should have 64 AND 32bit options (if you bought the 64bit one)

If you are having us build you a whole PC just say that.

you pick ram pretty much on what OS and OS version your planning to use.

but even vista 64bit. i would never need more then 4gigs.
even high end games wont ever need more then 3g at any 1 time. so its about the multi tasking you need.

and even then, if i want my 64 ultimate to run a battlefield, while having a taskbar full messengers, and a firefox with 16 tabs open all day. and the sidebar with hardware monitoring apps and news feeds.
i STILL dont use more then 4g

You know what, here:

I looked at compatibility, anything? I will get new ram, I forgot to since I removed it when I added the 64 bit.

That case looks tacky. I know Reactor Worker and I both always recommend the HAF 932, but it is just so damn nice. We both have it and love it.

I like mine because most of the reviews say its great and the fans are really quiet.

The cons are that it's huge and heavy.

Huge = good

Heavy = ... its a desktop.

Btw I cheated and got the system builders Vista. Technically I am building the system.

Should I keep that cart for 3 weeks or will technology change on me?

A better clocked version of the 4890 might come out, but nothing major should change.
