Author Topic: v11 Disallowed Me To Host  (Read 1606 times)

Ever since I got v11 my lack of hosting abilities has become apparent.
I didn't mind at first, I was just building crap.
Then I completed my build, and now, can't share it with the world.
These settings worked on v10. Any fix I should do?

I can't host even if I forward my ports automatically with a program, put Blockland on interceptions on my firewall, and turn it off... so IDK.

Go to the command prompt or terminal.
"ipconfig /all"

Is the IPv4 Address (you may have to scroll to find it) "192.168.1.2"?

I see no IPv4 on this list. Also I said earlier that this setup worked on v10.

The IP address is saying .1.2, so it is correct.

Anyone finding any problems? I seriously want to host again.

On my router, you have to set this up as some sort of "service" then actually enable it elsewhere - check the rest of your router's documentation or settings.

This is weird because V11 allowed me to host. I port forwarded in v10 but wasn't able to host.

Backwards world 'eh?
Conspiracy go!

I am not sure, but forwarding your ports again might do it.
BTW, I laughed at your avatar, the orange thing looks like a turd.

Tried re-forwarding the ports. Didn't work.
ALSO: The orange thing is honey candy thank you very much

So you CAN host with Verizion FIOS!

Mind helping me out?

Certainly. I actually find FiOS routers to be much much easier than others.

Go into Blockland.
Go to "Start a game"
Go to "Advanced Config"
Make sure that the Port is set to 28000.
