Author Topic: No collision, no render, you suck  (Read 1991 times)

there is a time and place where it can be necessary for an effect, or to fix that rare eyesore of a structure support.
but I hop servers and find some people overusing it for standard building.

i call you all out on poor building planning

I think he means when people build a house then have to use 1x2s to hold the roof up.

i should have taken pictures lol

- people have entire floors of buildings being held up by an invisible supports, throughout an entire build
- floating bricks as stairways
- half of the roofing work isn't even attached to the walls or rest of roof

sure the magic of the video game takes away the need the proper brick stacking to appealing look ratio,
but i still look to lego's roots of skill

I second this, but the invisible supports do come in handy at the most dire times

I don't use invisible supports, and I actually agree with this, before this topic.

I prefer no supports. Assuming it's something that's supposed to be floating.

...Then again I still don't know what you're talking about.

He is saying that people use "Invisible bricks" To build things. You can wrench a brick and turn of rendering to make it clear. People do this to hold on roofs because they cannot get a plate that has an exact size.

Hurdur I knew that. I know events and this I just did not understand what he was talking about. Or, rather, I did. I just did not see any way that that would be annoying for someone...

Does that mean using the toolgun and brick erasing unneeded bricks annoys you as well?

I mainly only use the invisible things for support when I am still editing the building and might accidentally wand something I didn't mean to.

mateo, it's pretty clear you DON'T know what i mean yet

Support bricks are unneeded.
