Spongebob.

Went up, up, up in funniness. Then started free falling when the movie premiered.

The old shows are great we loved them then the age of new stuff that wanted better ratings...

Initially I agreed with you up to the point where you had to include a stereotype of the type of people who you feel is behind it when in my opinion I believe it's not the christian book club mothers, but the atheist liberals who have been on the rampage in trying to gain control of media in general and have seem to control the news broadcasting centers. Those liberals and their "must be p.c." attitude is the main reason things are turning out the way they are. It may have been for a good cause originally, but just like peta, they won a few battles for the cause and got too big in their egos and decided that wasn't enough. End of that story.

Well, you're kind of a hypocrite, if you are saying I am stereotyping people and that is bad, since you also stereotyped people (librals for one). Plus, the PTC is owned by conservatives. Also, it is comical you think the Athisest librals are behind this, as Athiest librals for one, aren't known to go around telling people what to do. That is usually done by conservative Christians (no offence to Christians, as of course, not all Christians are like that.)

Flapjack
Is handicapped. Chowder was funny, but they had to ruin that too.

Figures.
They've officially gone to hell.

I miss the rugrats :(

Yes, I can be hypocritical at times, but my point is still valid. From those Atheist Liberals I talk about, you happen to mention anything religious around Atheist Liberals and you have one long boring conversation about how god let them down, how the world sucks, and why I'm a moron for believing in something they can't possibly perceive. Yeah, they don't tell anyone anything do they? Read the forums for clear evidence.

Don't forget Animaniacs and any shows related to Bugs Bunny. :cookieMonster:

The freakin' Rugrats were the best children's show on TV ever.  So they make a crappy 10 year anniversary and say "We're canceling it for no reason! GO US!"

And thanks to Frogg, because he just HAD to attack Christians in his rant.  WEEEEEEEEEEE

I am probably not old enough to understand this to the extent of some of the older teenagers in this thread, but the shows when I was a kid were better. Cow and Chicken was pretty good, I think that was my favorite other than angry beavers

Cow and Chicken my god :D

First of all, I am not Athiest. Second of all, I said conservative Christians because, 1: they own the PTC and 2: they are usually the ones who like to control what people do. Note: 'Concservative' Christans, and not all.

Please read more carefully, not Christians in general. 'Conservative' Christians, plus I didn't say all of them are like that.

So, you think it's okay to attack Christians, but only if they are "conservative"?

Those "conservative" Christians you speak of are not conservative Christians in the traditional sense.  I would consider myself a conservative Christian, and if you spoke with me in real life I'm sure you would too.

Automatically going along with stereotypes of anything is bad, and the whole "they like to control what people do" is total crap.  I know too many instances where the minority of Christians who give themselves a bad name are considered the norm to further propagate anti-Christian ideals.

As is the case with most people, anti-stereotypical philosophies are thrown out the window with religion is involved.  This is just another example of that.

My point being, you shouldn'tve even brought it up in the first place.  Also, I highly doubt the PTC was the reason that SpongeBob became a terrible show, or that Rugrats was cancelled.
