:D Atleast I don't use it.

Personally I'm still using it because there isn't any real alternative to it yet, but it's definitely not right to do that.

NoScript included hidden code in one version of their Addon to invisibly add filters to Adblock Plus without asking the user and stop it from blocking the adverts on their site.

NoScript made some useless "updates" every week or so to regularly direct people to their front page with all these adverts.

best to use third party programs (like Spybot to Internet Explorer) to block ads as well.

I never noticed ads on noscripts site...(I usually skip noscript updates, I dont see any need to update most of time)

DUN DUN DUUUUN

Thank goodness I don't use NoScript.
Only AdBlock Plus.
:D

I use both plugins and I have to say, I don't really mind that page that comes up. Oh 'boo hoo' I have to close a single tab.

Still, I don't appreciate all this funny business.

Oh no, I have to see ads that I wont click.

AdBlock is bad, and no one should use it. If people can't make money off of advertising, then a lot of sites are going to go down.

Simply having the ads on the websites gives them revenue
Besides, no important sites I go on have ads/need revenue

Sorry to break it to you, but they get payed by the click.

Poor business models die all the time. Some are stubborn (music labels, auto industry, etc) but ultimately they all succumb to technology.

There are plenty of other ways they could make money.

I use flash blocker on Firefox, pretty much blocks all Ad's and stops you from downloading those bloody video ad's. Flash Blocker + Firefox's deafult blocker = enough security for me.
