Author Topic: Has anyone noticed the state's distrust in today's youth with computers?  (Read 2995 times)

Our school is awesome, they let us put games on the school servers (Like CS 1,6 and stuff) and don't care what we do on it, once I was deleting windows files :v

My school http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire_High_School ,We use  laptops every thing is on laptop you take them home, take care of em,Secretly download stuff then hide it,do quizes,do work. It's best at luch when they turn off the web filters.

My school recently started using XP. With the old 95 theme, of course, because anything that looks new is bad. Its just the same as the last one we used though because they still don't let you download things and you can only get on your  memory space through the network and putting anything on the actual computer harddrive is not allowed.

Same. Plus they had a strict website filter that blocked out most google results for unreasonable things (Such as blocking www.acidmods.com for gaming). This year was a little better, they allow you to download stuff and they unblocked youtube, which is cool.

My school got new computer this year.
The monitors have a really nice stand that you can rotate, move up and down, and even tilt the moniter 90 degrees left or right.
And the teachers freak out when you do it.
