Author Topic: Built-in Microphone Working when Muted.  (Read 671 times)

So, my friend wouldn't stop bugging me about playing the game Second Life, to the extent of where I started to play it.  The first day, my mic' was running fine, but the second day, it would only project staticy sounds that kind of formed what I was saying.  I later found out that this was because I have a mic' built into my PC.  then I found out that if I have the thing muted, in both my normal sound settings and more advanced sound settings, it takes in sound. So no matter what I do, it'll project sound into my computer from the outside.  What the hell is going on?

tl;dr: Some how my PC's built-in mic' will work, not only when it's muted, but even when a wired mic' is plugged in.

Unplug in inside mic.

I havehad this program to brown townyze internal mics. Let me try to find it again.

I had to use it with my Mic in my iMac running windows.
