Cannot figure out this garage door thing.

Trying to change the pin on our garage door keypad, and I need to find a switch or something in our garage door motor unit. I took the cover off and everything, and I don't even know what kind it is. It's a big brown thing with a sticker on the side that says "DELUXE MODEL '500'" on it. Anyone have any idea what it is? It seems to be made by Linear, but I'm not sure. I Googled around and found nothing. It also appears to be the first garage door motor ever made, and I know it's possible to hook up this keypad because it was done before. I just forgeted everything up by holding two buttons at once which apparently reset it to an unprogrammed state, so I need to reprogram it. Basically, I made it a hell of a lot harder than it was before.

Help me. Please.

Try unplugging and replugging it in.

You know, it's really hard to work on these things with a vague description of the problem, situation, and materials. Not being able to see anything doesn't help either.
