Author Topic: What did you see? - Flash Forward  (Read 1612 times)

Some strange new commercials have been appearing while I've been watching Lost. They show a small, short video clip, followed by "What did you see?" There is nothing else. No website, no evidence whatsoever on what it is.

Here is a video.

After some Googling and other research, I've found out that it's an upcoming TV show on ABC, called "Flash Forward". Their website is www.flashforwardtv.com.

What if you were shown a glimpse of your future, but didn't like what you saw? How hard would you fight and what would you sacrifice to keep it from coming true? When an unexplained, cataclysmic event knocks out the entire population of the world at the exact same moment, for two minutes and 17 seconds, everyone will see a glimpse of their own future. Then they will wake up to chaos. From his flash forward, LA FBI Agent Mark Benford is able to piece together the 'when' April 29, 2010, but he's desperate to figure out the 'why' and stop what's coming because it's a future he doesn't want to see. In the future, Mark's beloved wife has left him for the father of one of her patients. He's started drinking again, his loyal partner's been murdered and masked operatives are hunting him down. Before long, everyone starts asking themselves and each other, "What did you see?" As Mark and his team struggle to figure out what caused this bizarre event and wonder will it happen again, the only thing they have to go on is a huge mosaic of people's flash forwards. Adapting award-winning science fiction author Robert J. Sawyer's revolutionary novel, executive producers David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) and Brannon Braga (24, Star Trek: Enterprise) invite us to flash forward into a thrilling vision of a world held captive by events that have not yet taken place. No one knows for certain what the future holds, but everyone will have their theories.

Sounds pretty cool to me. I'm definitely going to watch it when it comes out. Anyone else think it sounds good?

I can see the future

Seriously no stuff. When im asleep I sometimes see a glimpse of the futer cant hear anything but can see stuff, only images. And normally its within the next few days. This one time I saw the corner of a basement of a house. Well theres this house in the woods near me that has only a corner of bricks left. I saw that then me and cousin went into woods. And it seems I only remember what I saw when I see it.

I do the same thing too...

People say it's deja vu, but it hasn't happened yet, so technically it isn't.

I wanna try to stay on topic though, so maybe someone should create a topic about that. :/

I have that kind of thing too, it is annoying.  I saw this little clip of a test, and I recognised it, and I was trying to remember where the forget I saw it before.

Just because it is mentioned in a show doesn't mean its from the show.

Seems like you know the show very well.

Yea i hate that. Like you just kinda watch what takes places thinking "I've seen this" then its like oh stuff i dreamed this.

God damn it i cant see the future i can just read minds.

I think there is a word for that, Deja Vu? I say it is caused by fragmented memories being replaced by a recent experience to fill a gap of what we lost.

some people build up their chakra/chi and dont release it and thats how it comes out as a dream

or something like that and
