Let me explain: Whenever the new thousand of id's starts people freak out and act like the new ones will be idiots.

Actually, it's more like 12k x 9.95 = 119,400, because I remember Badspot saying somewhere that half the money goes to GarageGames and Step 1 Games etc.

It goes to taxes. GarageGames doesn't take royalties, which is one of the neat things about them. All money that goes to Step 1 Games ends up in Badspot's pocket.
