Background
My brother belongs to a club for Street Fighter IV and other fighting games. He plans to convert the backroom at our bar into a new meeting place for this club. They currently meet in a small one bedroom apartment with 20+ people and desperately need a bigger space.
He is starting to collect old arcade cabinets to decorate this new space. He has bought one from someone in Virginia. He wants to drive down there to pick it up as the shipping would be too expensive. I volunteered to drive him down there for reasons only God knows.
Current Situation
We are doing maintenance on our dad's truck, making sure it is ready for a long drive. We have blankets for the bed, emergency equipment, spare tire(s), a tarp for if it rains, and several ratchet straps. We will be leaving late Friday night as we usually do for long drives, so we can avoid most traffic.
Future
I'm wondering if anyone knows how the drive down there is. We are starting in Buffalo, NY and going to...I don't know yet, I'll have to ask him.
I'd like to know where a good place to get some barbecue is in Virginia. Also, if there is anything else that I should look into doing while down there. We will only be spending Saturday there.
