The mod is not being shunned because we just don't like it, it's because nearly all servers hosting it are so damn unoriginal and stuffty.

So don't go to them.

Wouldn't it be better to have the DM and Machinma servers run by people who actually know what they are doing?

You people need to understand that it is completely and totally wrong to blacklist a mod because you don't like it.

The argument that "because there is so much cityrp there aren't enough DMs and other servers" does not hold water for the first reason above.  Bad servers are bad servers, no matter what gamemode they are hosting.

I see too many people on here saying "WAAAAH I'VE NEVER BEEN TO A GOOD CITYRP SERVER BAN BAN BAN".  That is an ignorant and stupid response.

I say no. Although I hate playing on those types of servers myself, others still love it.

I say no, just becauase you dont like it, then dont go. Some people (Regardlessr  of who they are) still enjoy going to a CityRp, Also you may say that there are a number of reasons to have them banned but;
They are allways run by bad hosts---> Well, if it wasn't a bad host for a CityRp, it would be a bad host for a TDM or freebuild

They allways have annoying players---> If you dont like the players, then dont play with them. And think of it this way, a CityRp server has 10 noobs messing around and being rather pathetic, But atleast this means that they aren't in a GOOD server messing around and causing havok. Simply put, if they are messing around in CityRp then they aren't messing around in another server

There is never enough [T.D.M/Freebuild/Machinima/RPG/etc...]---> Well, if there weren't any CityRp servers, then there still wouldnt be more [T.D.M/Freebuild/etc...] servers. Just because there are CityRp servers out there, it doesn't mean thats why there aren't as many [T.D.M/Freebuild/etc...] servers as you want. It isn't the CityRp servers faults.

You dont like the GamePlay (e.g; Wait ages to get money to buy a jeep)---> Obviously, you dont like the idea of waiting in a game like this, so why play it. Why not go and play on a freebuild server and get that shiny new jeep whenever you want, If you cant take the time, then dont make the (CityRp?) Or something like that. Just don't play there.

So all in all, If you dont like the CityRp then don't play it, nothing forces you to, Just go play somewhere else. And that my friends, is why CityRp should not be BlackListed.

City rp should of been released only to close freinds like 4 freinds and they wouldnt give it to anyone, if that happened i'm sure the server list wouldnt have 500 servers dedicated to City Rps.

I'm saying that there's a lack of types. If you were to see the server now, you would find, "[insert name] RPG". Blockland gets easily repetetive when you find the same type of server over and over again.

I admit myself, would prefer bad servers with a different gamemode than bad servers with CityRP. Because I, and most people, want to experience something different.

And I'm saying that because you and many people have stated explicitly and implicitly that most of the time, it's total noobs who host RPG's.  Therefore, the good servers will have the other types that are "lacking".  Read my post again.

Yes, it does get repetitive, if you go to those servers.  The main takeaway is DON'T GO TO THE CITYRP SERVERS IF YOU DON'T LIKE THEM!  If you dare say that CityRP makes a lack of non-CityRP servers again then you have proved that you are just arguing in circles.

True, going to RP servers when you don't like it is stupid. But since nearly everyone uses it, there is a lack of different gametypes. I'll go make an example.

Lets say "Person 1" goes on the arcade.
Person 1 likes racing games, however the arcade has only a majority of fighting games. Person 1 tries tries the fighting game, but doesn't like it.
He tries another fighting game, he doesn't like it. He plays the racing game, he likes it, but there was only one.
