Author Topic: New laptop  (Read 1365 times)

Well, my parents decided last moment 1300 is too much to spend on a computer (Even though I had saved it all up and they would pay for nothing.)

So I decided this looks good. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115539

Anyone know had 2.0ghz dual core CPU with 9600 card will fun fallout3 and other games? Any other suggestions for betting computers at the same price point?

Dont get a laptop. I have one and when ever i tell my friend about playing games he laughs at me and now when I play CSS it crashes within 5 minutes

I'm getting a laptop. laptop will crash no more then a desktop, except if its of inferior quality.

I was just looking at that on newegg deals page.

It's ok.

I want this as a sort of back up computer. Still runs everything nice, but not as well as my desktop. I ahve dual core 3.0ghz with 9800GTX+ on this. Anyone know how much more sluggish this new one will feel?

OMG I just realised the one you want is an ACER I got one last last christmas and one year later its a P.O.S

Well I haven't had good experience with ACER in the past, but those specs should at least run the game on medium settings.  http://www.systemrequirementslab.com is great for finding out if and how well you can run a game.

I know about can I run it, but it will not let me set my own specs, to see how something thoer then the computer I'm on will run something.

But, will it blend?

I play Blockland on a laptop, it runs without any lag. Other games are different depending on how detailed they are.

Yep. Nice find. Hello scam site.

Do I see a little Newegg symbol on the screen of the laptop? Conspicuous.
You mean suspicious.
