Author Topic: Prowler Tank: Taking Suggestions.  (Read 1442 times)

Hello, I have been using Blender to great models. I am still new to it but hopefully will get the hang of it. I have been working on a tank called the Prowler.

It has a turret on top and 2 fixed machine guns at the sides to be used for destroying vehicles/players that are in front of you. It also has a fixed mortor on the front for shooting rockets from a distance. Tell me what you think. You can also give me suggestions on what I should add.

One of the first things I noticed: The barrels are paper thin.  To make them thicker extrude the region and click before it moves, then scale it down to how wide you want it.  Repeat the first two steps but move it inward, so that it completes it's thickness.

it's a box.

will the rocket moarter be movable?

2x That

The Sandcrawler is from Star-Wars. I think that you should round off the edges a bit. Also, add some detail to the sides and front, they seem lacking.

Is it a hover based tank, or you just havent added the wheels yet?

Should I add wheels or make it hover?

The layout of your tank reminded me of this. Any ideas?

It reminds you of a Lemun Russ?

It more reminds me of the Steam Tank from Warcraft 3

Well, this tank has side-mounted guns, and I don't see the steam tank with that. It also has a hatch-mounted gun, which this tank doesn't have. That, and the other tank is more stylish/old-looking.

Thats up to you, I was just saying if its a hover tank. :cookieMonster:
