I might sell my school laptop and buy this. While we're on the subject of resale value, how much can I sell my old laptop if it has 1.25 GB RAM, 2.0 GHz Celeron M cpu, and integrated Intel Extreme something (Specifics later), 2 chargers, a case, product information guide (Sort of worn out), the Cyberlink PowerDVD reinstallation software, and the XP Professional SP2 installation CD? Originally bought for $1500 from my school, planning to buy a new battery for it in late 8th grade to increase resale value. So far it's probably at least $900, right?

Maybe, where are you going to sell it? Cragslist?
If so, i recommend comparing your wanted sell price to others.
I matched mine at 460-560 because that's the price range that the others were at.
But i don't know how many laptops are being sold on craigslist. :D

I wouldn't sell it for $900.
You can buy a newer/nicer laptop for that price o_o

I had someone reply to an earlier add of mine that had it listed at 460.
So, i have to sell it to him for that much.

By the time I sell it, the battery will be a new one and I'll have scratched off any remaining school things on the laptop.

I'll peel off all the stickers on it (School, owners name, 100.7 The Bay etc) and I'll reinstall Windows XP and install Service Pack 3, and install Cyberlink PowerDVD.
