Author Topic: Growing Flower Beads... OF DOOM  (Read 1452 times)

Yea, so yesterday I went to Springfest in Maryland, which is a place where all of these people sell stuff they make and whatnot. Anyways, there was a booth outside with these little rubber ball looking things in some jars. I proceeded to touch them... they felt like balls made of gelatin, which I thought was cool so I bought 3 bags of these little things for $10 (2 dollars off, hell yes!).

Here is what they start out as:

(Quarter for size comparement)

Results after a night of bathing in a quart of water for 1 night:

(Shiny thing is the quarter for size comparement)

Apparently they water your flowers for 6-8 weeks, but I go them solely for touching and playing with (they bounce like rubber balls). I just thought I would share this with you guys since these little balls are so cool :D

Have fun playing with your balls.

I've seen something like that before. I got one and it got as big as my fist, it took a few days to grow, it's supposed to water the plant for a year.

It was awesome until my friend stole it :<

Those are cool. Soon they'll be bigger than your house. Sounds like a stupid horror story.

Mine only grow as big as they are now ;c

Quick, glue them together and create a giant monster :o

Super-Glue them!
Just what I said. But instead of a monster, make it a katamari :D

Ever played a katamari game?

Just what I said.
But Super-Glue holds better than regular glue. You wouldn't want your flower bead monster to fall apart now would you?

i want to go get them now. But sadly i cant.

And Super-Glue also spontaneously combusts when it comes in contact with cotton or wool
