k, i didnt copy and paste the script, i used the magic carpet as a base script, because im new to scripting and what better way to learn to script than by using other scripts as bases and editing alot of it?

im going to fix the model when i get home later today.

Most gun add-ons are copy and paste from the original Gun add-on (with editing OF COURSE!).  You can't just copy & paste a script, you ALWAYS have to edit something, or else it will not work.

And, I think the flying carpet flying model is perfect for a broom.

Basically, ryan, I'd suggest you'd only criticize if you can do better, because your post has just demonstrated a huge lack in scripting knowledge.


EDIT: But, the model still sucks.  Amazingly sucks.

Basically, ryan, I'd suggest you'd only criticize if you can do better, because your post has just demonstrated a huge lack in scripting knowledge.

I know that if you copy and paste a script you would obviously have to change it such as model files and a few other things, but the good add-ons change almost everything or even write the entire script. All he did with this (I'm pretty sure) is that he change the mdel, might have changed the speed and that is about it. Also, I don't think brooms move like the magic carpet. The magic carpet floats a few feet off of the ground, but magic brooms fly up in the sky. I think that it should have plane style flying, and as for the model and 'criticize if you can do better' I can do MUCH better than that piece.

A lot of weapons we use today are just like this with the gun, or with another weapon that used some more advanced features (like the spread of Ephi's shotgun), so you have no argument there.

In modeling or scripting? Scripting? Hell no I can't script for the life of me, never tried really, but modelling? Hell yes I can do better. This is a stuff model made in a few minutes.

Exactly, we all agreed that the model sucked, but then you kept saying "GAH IT BE JUST A COPY" and I was saying that that is pretty much how most weapons are scripted.

So, obviously, you can't do it better, and should've shut up 3 posts ago thank you.
