I Just forgeted up my Computer. Help Please.

I just tried to "patch" my Vista so I could use custom themes, but apparently it didn't like that.
Now I can't start it up. It restarts if I start it normally, and then it gives me the blue screen if I try to repair it.
What the hell do I do? I made a restore point, but I can't use it if Vista won't start up.

If you have the original vista disk, re-install. You're boned. I did that, and it forgeted me over.

No. Simply no. If there is any other way to fix it, I'm loving finding it. I'm not going through that stuff again. I'm loving sick of it. I had to do it so many times with my XP, watch my laptop die, and now my best loving computer ever is not going to lose all its files because of this.
I'm loving sick of this stuff.

You can also try to run windows in recovery mode. When you boot up, and it's at the black screen with the start up stuff, press f9. Or, it will give you the option.

just mash the F keys after the 'Enter BIOS settings' screen goes away.

Then pay a little bit of money to get your files backed up on a seperate hard drive and then reinstall.....

If you used UXtheme patcher, that's why.

If you used VistaGlazz, some other program doesn't like it.

Press F8 when starting the computer, and hold until you get a menu where you can choose to boot in safe-mode.
