Author Topic: My prints wont work! (Read 1241 times)

I am working on some prints, and they are having some problems. I just can't figure it out. The .zip file is named "Print_2x2f_PizzaPack". (copy/pasted for accuracy) In that folder, I have 1 folder named "prints". I have another named "icons". I have a "description.txt". I have a "server.cs". In the "prints" file, I have five 512x512 images. In the "icons" file, I have five 64x64 images with the same names as the images in the "prints" file.

That is all I have. I have tried it with ONLY my prints enabled. It does not appear in the selection list in-game. It appears in the add-on checklist.

If anyone will help me, I would appreciate it.

Can you put the file on media fire for me to check it? I am not sure what you did wrong but this might be able to help you.

I don't know how, but I have described everything in the file. Isn't that enough? The actual pictures dont matter.

There is other factors, like if you entered the server.cs wrong or if the files are not named right and such.

I gave you all that information. I copy\pasted the names and stuff so I wouldn't give you false info.

Um, is it sensative to caps? if so, change the name of your server.cs to Server.cs
and your prints should be named the same as your icons. (I dont no if their not, but if so, change)
this is all that I know on the topic other than using .png (the problems that I had! :P).

Use "thumbs" instead of "icons" and I'm pretty sure it'll work

In all the other prints I have made, I used 'icons'.

Put it on mediafire. Just go to the site and if you can't figure out how to upload it then you need to open your eyes.

Did you resize the prints to 256, and the icons to 64?Also,you need to make sure the icons and prints have the same name.And they need to be a .png.I just checked,they did.Wonder whats wrong then...You seemed to package everything right...

I have a similar problem:
I have a folder Print_1x1_TemplarPack1
It showed up in the add-ons checklist, but I don't see them in the server.

Three things:
1. The files have spaces in their names. Use_underscores_instead. This is probably the problem.
2. The server.cs is blank. This will create a syntax error, but will not stop the prints from working. //Add a comment to it.
3. You have thumbs.db files in there. They are useless. Delete them.
