when I get into the map editor and select new mission, it has an error, and says somthing weird:

'I edit bedroom. Open the mission editor and delete the clock, the bedroom, the grass and move the spawn down. Then relight the scene to remove the shadow.

any texture that shows up default.

Try one that isn't in the add-ons directory. While you're at it, post us a console log.
