I say nay on the scene girls. Nothing but posers. They're not depressed enough to be emo, yet not cool enough to be goth. So they whore themselves out for whatever attention they can get.

Give me a home-grown-girl-next-door-type any day. Plus points if she's got glasses, red hair, green eyes, and can fake an  accent.

I'm sure some don't use excessive makeup. The ones that do are all smoke and mirrors.
