Stop posting on the behalf of other people who are banned.

That invalidates the entire purpose of the ban and is just annoying. If you were banned for a time, wait it out instead of making some other guy post for you. It's supposed to be a punishment, deal with it. If you were permanently banned, Badspot evidently does not want you, your Add-Ons, your messages or your opinions on these forums. Stop making them.

I suggest that anyone who does this should be banned as well, for the remainder of that person's ban.

Maybe Badspot should add that as a rule. It is rather annoying.

It so happens everyone that does this is usually on my stufflist so doubly agreed.

yeah, i'm surprised it's not a rule too

i guess i should stop posting stuff for iban, then, huh?

Any particular reason?

If someone's banned, they shouldn't be posting on the forums. Posting by proxy of someone else is effectively like getting around an IP ban, just slightly more indirect. You're banned for making alternate accounts, if someone else is posting for you then they should be banned as your alternate account.

Hopefully, just hopefully, Badspot will bring the "behalfs" to justice

He would be really busy if that was a rule.

I kind of disagree.

I mean, it really depends on what the person is posting. It`s an unnecessary rule, since there`s nothing wrong with the post unless it breaks another rule anyway, and the person could easily just post it without saying it was on Xs behalf.

Example: I don't know if you were on when Slitheron spammed with my account, but there was a drama thread about me. It was obvious I didn't just randomly start to spam after two years, so people were speculating. I asked Joe to post on my behalf explaining the situation and it ended up resolving the problem and taking blame I didn't deserve off my shoulders. In this case, posting on my behalf meant justice against the right person.

I think that posting on someone's behalf shouldn't be punished unless there is no point to it. If it's to post a good add-on, then that's fine. If they get people to post randam stuff and crap add-ons, I think it should be a ban.

The only instance I believe its ok is if your posting something in gallery for that person.
